How does Cataract affect Vision?

In the normal eye, light enters and passes through the lens. The lens focuses that light into a sharp image on the retina, which relays messages through the optic nerve  to the brain. If the lens is cloudy from a cataract, the image you see will be blurry. 

సాధారణంగా కంటిలోనికి కాంతి  లెన్స్ నుండి పాస్  అయ్యి  రెటీనా మీద పడుతుంది. దాంతో  ఆప్టిక్ నెర్వ్   ద్వారా  బ్రెయిన్ కి   సిగ్నల్ అందుతుంది, దాంతో  మనకి  చూపు, వస్తువు  ఆకారం  స్పష్టంగా  కనిపిస్తుంది. 

లెన్స్ పారదర్శకత కోల్పోతే  కాంతి కిరణాల ప్రసరణ  తగ్గి  చూపు మసకబారుతుంది.
